MARCH MADNESS - NCAA MEN'S HOOPS TOURNEY - 2025

Join in - we're doing the March Madness bracket contest again this year.  Either download the Excel file at the BIG link below or use the one I emailed to you.  Fill it out and email it back to me (email address: jeremy_carlson@hotmail.com)  no limit on the number of brackets you can enter.  Just make sure they're submitted before Thursday's tip off (or postmarked by Wednesday if you're mailing it in)

Rules

1.  Bracket must be emailed/mailed/handed to one of the Carlson brothers before the 1st game starts or postmarked on the Wednesday before the first day of games at the latest.
2.  Multiple entries are welcome, but remember they must be submitted in Excel format.
3.  JC will enter and will also provide a copy of his bracket(s) to another person before the first game.
4.  Please keep a copy of your picks so you know who you picked.

Scoring

   1.  Base scoring plus bonus scoring (described below)
(highest possible = 133+35 = 168)

2.  Base scoring
1st round game correct = 1 point (32* games)
*We're NOT including Play in game this year
2nd round game correct = 2 points (16 games)
"Regional Semifinals" round game correct = 3 points (8 games)
"Regional Finals" round game correct = 5 points (4 games)
"Semifinals" round game correct = 7 points (2 games)
National Championship game correct = 10 points (1 game)
(Base scoring highest possible = 132)

3.  Bonus Scoring
Get National Championship matchup correct = (15 points)
 Get all 4 of "Final 4" teams correct = (10 points)
Get 7 out of 8 "Great 8" teams correct = (10 points)
(Bonus scoring highest possible = 35)
