A nice golden birthday present for Jugs - his 1st BIGFFBL Championship.  Jugs squeaks by the favorite Fat British Pigeons in another close championship game, 121-119.  It got close at the end, but Smith fell 1 Matt Stover FG away from the title.  In the 3rd place matchup, Jonny took down Rico 87-67.  I'll try and get everything updated and cleaned up this week to end the year and then after next week I will send out the official 2005 BIGFFBL All-Pro Email Ballot.  Once again, congrats to Jugs and Happy Birthday.

Christmas time is here - not to mention the 2005 BIGFFBL Championship game.  In the semi-finals last week, Smitty's Fat British Pigeons took down the Quarterback-less Team Tang: 130-101.  In the other semi-final, Your Fantasy Superior has finally made the big show with a 87-78 win over GOOOOOOOO.   Enjoy the Holidays and of course some football on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day -- well done by the schedule makers if you ask me.  (also -- welcome to the 26ers club Jugs - a bit early)

Here it is....Ramblings to come later and will explain the seedings....

December 8th, 2005

Well the power is back on the old laptop here so I'm getting it all updated.  Since Smitty did such a fine job of filling in with the Wednesday reading material, I'll take the rest of the week off and skip my weekly Ramblings.  The site is all updated....and with only 2 team clinching playoff spots at this point, there are some huge games coming up this weekend in the BIG.  I'll just touch on those and who has what advantage.....

Bulldog Division - Smith's team has been on cruise control heading to the playoffs.  The rest of the 'Dogs are out of it....

Husky Division - can you say LOGJAM?  Wow.  Rico would win the tiebreaker for the Division title at this point, but with a week to go, it is possible for any of the 3 guys with 8 wins could win the division.  Ben, well, can't win the division, but with a very good week and some help could win the wildcard.  So in summary, all 4 of these guys are still in it.

Bison Division - Jugsie is the other team with his ticket punched.  JC and Suomala still have a shot at the wildcard, but will need some help in the form of losses by some of those Husky Division guys to take the wildcard.

With Rich playing Mike and Jonny playing Juice, it is hard to imagine that those two will not be the final two guys to join Smitty and Jugsie in the postseason.
